Gerry D'Ambrosio

Gerry D’Ambrosio founded D’Ambrosio LLP in 1998 and currently serves as Managing Partner of the Firm. Gerry graduated magna cum laude from Boston University and was a member of the Scarlet Key and Phi Beta Kappa honor societies. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School where as a Trustee Scholar he served as an Editor of the Law Review. Upon graduation, he was hired as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Edward F. Harrington of the United States District Court of Massachusetts in Boston. During his work with the Federal Court, Gerry was exposed to many complex business disputes and serious government investigations.

Gerry later embarked on a legal career focused on trial advocacy and business law. As a state prosecutor in Boston, he litigated serious criminal felonies. Since entering private practice, he has handled multi-million dollar civil cases as well as complex white-collar criminal defense matters. Gerry has successfully litigated hundreds of cases to a judge or jury in Massachusetts. He has also successfully argued appeals before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

Gerry’s extensive business law experience has also made him a sought-after strategic advisor in a variety of business and development spheres. He has broad expertise in complex transactions, economic development matters, financing, and permitting and licensing issues. Gerry’s near thirty years of legal and business experience enables him to identify critical issues, solve problems, and provide clients with successful solutions to their challenges.

Gerry is cited as a Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine. His cases have been detailed in the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald and the Boston Business Journal. The Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has recognized his work in its annual listing of “Biggest Defense Wins of the Year.” Gerry has also written legal journal materials published by West’s Massachusetts Practice series.

The Governor of Massachusetts has selected Gerry to serve on the Commonwealth’s Judicial Nominating Commission. The JNC is a non-partisan group of highly experienced individuals that advises the Governor on the appointment of judges and other judicial officers in Massachusetts. Gerry’s service on the Commission is ongoing.

Gerry is fluent in Italian.

Paul Tellier

Paul is a partner at the firm. He has extensive experience representing businesses, entrepreneurs, developers, and individuals in complex civil litigation including, but not limited to, business disputes, real estate matters, and securities litigation. He also represents clients in commercial and residential conveyancing, commercial leasing, land use matters, and real estate investment transactions. Paul’s exhaustive experience representing sophisticated clients has positioned him as a leader at D’Ambrosio LLP.

Paul received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Boston College and his Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

John G. Cataldo

John G. Cataldo is partner at the firm, he represents individuals and corporate clients on matters of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, succession planning, changes in control, mergers & acquisition, corporate finance, commercial litigation, regulatory affairs, and entity formation. Mr. Cataldo also concentrates on broker-dealer and investment adviser compliance advice and regulatory defense, with particular emphasis on state enforcement actions; self-regulatory agencies (SRO), state and SEC registration and membership; and SRO administrative enforcement actions. Mr. Cataldo was formerly a member of the securities practice group at a major international law firm and an enforcement counsel in the Securities Division of the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Mr. Cataldo was formerly Chief Compliance Officer and Counsel at a national, publicly traded, independent broker-dealer and registered investment adviser. As a member of its executive management team, Mr. Cataldo spearheaded the company’s retail compliance, licensing, fixed insurance, legal, and regulatory affairs operations. Mr. Cataldo sat on the company’s Executive Committee and was involved in planning and implementing tactical and strategic company initiatives.

Mr. Cataldo has formed and advised several national and international corporations. He has advised clients on domestic and international corporate transactions involving entities in the Netherlands, Mauritius, India, Canada, and several other nations. Mr. Cataldo has facilitated corporate transactions for public and private entities.

Mr. Cataldo’s securities practice focuses on offering compliance advice, registering firms as regulated entities (broker-dealer, investment adviser, alternative trading system and transfer agent), attaining approval of changes in control and ownership of regulated entities, responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations, negotiating settlements with regulators, conducting annual supervisory control examinations, facilitating broker-dealer agent and investment adviser representative licenses with state authorities and SROs, drafting procedures designed to comply with securities regulations, assisting firms in establishing succession planning programs, and outreach initiatives. Mr. Cataldo also assists financial services participants on strategic corporate initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and business expansions.

Mr. Cataldo has drafted several articles on securities law topics, actively participates in roundtables and conferences conducted by the North American Securities Administrators Association, and drafts questions for the Series 63, 65 and 66 examinations. Mr. Cataldo has been quoted on several securities law topics and has published articles on varied subject matters. Mr. Cataldo is a former chairperson of the Financial Services Institute’s Compliance Council and was selected by ExecRank as a top Chief Compliance Officer (2014).

Joseph R. Basteri

Joseph R. Basteri is an associate with the firm and focuses on municipal tax title matters. He received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Massachusetts, cum laude. At Suffolk Law, Joe competed with the National Trial Team. During his spare time, Joe follows state politics and has volunteered his efforts to various campaigns.

Anthony Brunco

Anthony Brunco is an associate with the firm. His practice focuses on land use matters, including receiverships, code enforcement, conveyancing, and foreclosure litigation.

Anthony received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, Anthony interned with the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Merrimack College, where he was elected President of the Student Government.

Anthony is admitted in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Thomas P. Campbell

Tom Campbell began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Boston. As a prosecutor, he also served as the District Attorney’s advisor on policy and public affairs issues, and was assigned to the Major Felony Unit and Homicide Response Team. For several years he investigated, indicted and tried serious felony cases, such as bank robberies and violent sexual assaults. Tom entered private practice in 1999.

Tom has tried many cases before judges and juries in the state and federal trial courts of Massachusetts. He has also argued cases before the federal First Circuit Court of Appeals, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Commission against Discrimination.

Tom represents individuals, businesses and municipalities in all of the state and federal courts of Massachusetts. He has represented clients in a wide variety of business, employment, environmental and civil rights matters, among other types of disputes. He focuses on counseling businesses in commercial litigation, including contract and employment cases. Tom has worked with religious congregations on a wide range of matters including internal governance and litigation issues.

Tom was an elected member of his town’s School Committee from 2014–2016. He served as the vice chair of the board of Peace at Home, a non-profit agency focused on the prevention of domestic violence, and also served on the Data Analysis, Research and Evaluation sub-committee of the Governor’s Commission on Sexual and Domestic Violence.

Tom earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He currently serves on the board of its 230,000-member Alumni Association. He has twice been an elected vice president of the Association: from 2007-2013, and from 2018 to the present. Tom was an adjunct law professor at Northeastern University School of Law from 1997 to 2015.

Peter R. Goldstone

Peter R. (P. R.) Goldstone, a senior associate in the firm’s Litigation Group, represents clients in a wide range of complex business matters.

P. R. received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where he was a Contributing Editor of the Law Review and Dean’s Scholar. He holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago, graduating with highest honors, Phi Beta Kappa. P.R. also did his doctoral studies at MIT.

After graduating law school, he clerked for Justice David Mills on the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining D’Ambrosio LLP. was a business litigator at a large international law firm and later served as an in-house attorney for Fidelity Investments.

P. R. is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Minnesota, the District Court of Massachusetts, and the District Court of Minnesota.

Matt King

Matt King is an associate with the firm. He focuses on estate planning, tax, and complex land-use matters.

Matthew received his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. While in law school, he was selected to represent Boston College in the ABA negotiation competition in 2017, 2018, and 2019, reaching the regional finals each year. He received his Bachelor of Science from Bentley University, where he dual majored in Finance and Accounting. Before joining D’Ambrosio LLP, Matthew served as a Tactical Air Control Party in the United States Air Force. In 2012, he deployed with the 1st Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Matthew is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Candace LePage

Candace LePage is the Firm's Human Resource Director. She has been with D’Ambrosio LLP for over five years. Her responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
  • Development and management of benefit packages including compensation, health insurance, vacation time, PTO, and maternity leave
  • Development and revisions of Firm procedures, methods, policies, and guidelines
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal employment protocols and consultation with Partnership on necessary actions
  • Special assignments outside her HR responsibilities

Candace received her paralegal certificate from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and is currently earning her B.S. in Accounting from Purdue University – Global.

Joshua M. Loveall

Joshua M. Loveall is a senior counsel at the firm. Joshua has extensive experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including representing various parties in contract, real estate, trust, copyright, employment, and securities disputes in both State and Federal court and FINRA. He has successfully represented clients at each stage of the litigation process, from pre-suit negotiations to trial.

Joshua is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, he was a Published member of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.

Fatima Mahamed

Fatima Mahamed has joined D’Ambrosio LLP as a land use associate. Before joining D’Ambrosio, she worked in the legal division of a Boston accounting firm.

Fatima received her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where she graduated as a Sandra Day O'Connor Honors Student. She received her undergraduate degree from Simmons University.

Fatima is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Fatima enjoys travel and is conversant in Arabic and Spanish.

Rachel Miselman

Rachel Miselman practices in the areas of real estate, tax title, and land use matters. She received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and Master of Law, LL.M., from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Prior to her career in law, Rachel worked with various human rights organizations, including the British Helsinki Parliamentary Human Rights Group and the European Roma Rights Center. She speaks several languages, including French, German and Italian.

Justin Moore

Attorney Justin Moore has joined D’Ambrosio LLP as a transactional associate. His practice focuses on a wide range of business, real estate and permitting matters. Before joining our firm, Justin worked at a large Boston law firm, with a focus on equity financing for affordable housing projects eligible for federal low-income housing tax credits. He is a graduate of Syracuse University, summa cum laude, and Boston University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the Review of Banking and Financial Law.

Justin grew up on the Northshore and is a proud graduate of Danvers High School. He is an avid softball player and has enjoyed umpiring youth baseball.

Justin is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is a member of both the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.

AJ Moscone

AJ Moscone is Of Counsel with the firm. His practice focuses on municipal real estate, land use, and licensing matters.

AJ received his Juris Doctor cum laude from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. While in law school he was selected as an honors Judicial Clerk to the Justices of the Essex County Superior Court. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. He has successfully litigated matters before a judge or jury in multiple venues throughout the Commonwealth.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the East Boston Chamber of Commerce as well as the East Boston YMCA.
He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Nancy O'Neil

Nancy S. O’Neil is an associate with the firm and focuses on business litigation and land use matters. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the Law Review. Nancy has also interned for the Hon. Allison Dale Burroughs of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts and at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.

Nancy is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

Liam J. O’Rourke

Liam J. O’Rourke is an associate with the firm and focuses on business litigation. He received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, magna cum laude and his Bachelor of Arts from Saint Anselm College, magna cum laude. At Suffolk Law, Liam competed with the National Trial Team and won the Tom C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Trial Competition. Liam also interned for the Honorable Judge Pamela Dashiell of the Massachusetts Trial Court. On his time off, Liam enjoys international travel.

Quinn D. O’Sullivan

Quinn D. O’Sullivan is an associate with the firm and focuses on land use and estate planning matters. She received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, magna cum laude and her Bachelor of Arts from Merrimack College, summa cum laude. At Suffolk Law, Quinn also competed on the Jessup mock trial team. During her spare time, Quinn is a Massachusetts state park enthusiast.

Nathan Y. Pak

Nathan Y. Pak is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Group and works with our clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters.

Nathan received his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, where he was a Staff Writer for the Boston College Law and Religion Review. He holds a B.A. from Columbia University and was a John Jay Scholar. Nathan also holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Boston College.

Prior to joining D’Ambrosio LLP, Nathan served as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing the Commonwealth in a variety of venues throughout Massachusetts. Nathan is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts.

He is conversant in Korean.

Noelle Spagnuolo

Noelle Spagnuolo is D’Ambrosio LLP’s Office Manager. She has worked at the firm for over ten years. Her responsibilities are broad and include managing the firm’s administrative staff as well as working cooperatively with the Partnership to develop and implement operational initiatives. Noelle received her paralegal certificate from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and is a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Matt Szafranski

Matt Szafranski is an associate with the firm. His practice includes a wide range of business litigation matters. Before joining D’Ambrosio LLP, Matt worked as a litigation attorney for firms in Connecticut and Massachusetts as well as for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Matt received his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law School and his Bachelor’s degree from Boston University, where he majored in both English and History.

Matt is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Lisa Tammaro

Lisa Tammaro is responsible for all aspects of accounting operations and operational leadership for the firm. This includes overseeing billing and collections, accounts payable, treasury operations and financial reporting.

Lisa has been with D’Ambrosio LLP for over 10 years. Prior to joining the legal sector, she held various accounting and financial roles at a multinational company. Lisa earned her B.S.B.A. from Northeastern University and is also a graduate of the GE Financial Management Program.

Lisa is fluent in Italian.

Angela Tejeda

Angela Tejeda is the Senior Project Manager at D’Ambrosio LLP. She has been with the firm for nearly twenty-five years. Her responsibilities include a wide array of matters as assigned by the Partnership. Angela is expert at managing multiple related projects to ensure that overall performance is aligned to and directly supports the strategic objectives of the Firm.
